Coaches of Mees Palace Football Academy have been invited to participate in the 4th edition of the NPFL/LaLiga coaching workshop which is set to commence from February 4-7, 2020.
The delegation of coaches will be headed by the Chief Coach of our U15 team, Tony Ogharanduku and his assistant, Sam Onah. Also, head Coach of our U12 team, Sapwada Yerima and his assistant Longji Mikuk as well as our U10 coach Azi Samuel will partake in the workshop.
The workshop which is slated to take place at the MKO Abiola stadium will be facilitated by Diego Gutierrez Ramos and Enrique Brisach Felipe, who both are Coaching Instructors from LaLiga.
Ramos who is the lead instructor holds a UEFA Professional license, a Master’s degree in Physical Education and Sports, and a Post Graduate degree in Football Analysis, while Felip holds a UEFA A license and a Master’s degree in High-Performance Team Sports.
Sporting Director of the Academy Tony Shav feels the coaching workshop will go a long way in helping the coaches in our academy to improve the knowledge they have of the game.
“Our Coaches have had trainings from instructors who came from the Dutch Federation and also attended the Lagos Business School/ La Liga Conference in the last seven months. This workshop will certainly will add to their knowledge and will help the growth of the academy”.
In addition to our coaches attending the workshop, our U15 Boys consisting of 23 players and two U12 boys will be used for the Practical sessions of the conference as requested by the Spanish League Football Governing body.
