MPFA U12s make light work of Relentless FA in Jos Chillin’ Cup as U10s sneak through to semis

The opening round of matches in the 2022 Jos Chillin’ Football Tournament saw our Mees Palace Football Academy (MPFA)youngsters advance to the semifinals in the U10 and U12 categories. Our U10s were first up on the pitch in the frosty weather of Jos.

Chris Lucky scored the game’s first goal for Relentless FA after just six minutes which was a result of our boys’ sluggish start against them. Oche Sunday gave us the equalizer two minutes later with a beautiful dink over the goalkeeper just before the break.

When the game was tied at one all after regulation time, our boys triumphed 5-4 via penalty shootout 5-4.

Elsewhere, Our U12s defeated Relentless FA U12s 5-1 in their quarterfinal tie

Abdul Abdul and Felix Audu each scored one goal, while Agwon Thomas and Felix Audi each scored twice.

Our U10s and U12 will play in the semifinals in the next round of fixtures next weekend
