Weekend Roundup: MPFA U14s get back to winning ways as U16s drop points for the first time in Tsenba Wummen League

Mees Palace Football Academy (MPFA) U14s got back to winning ways in our matchday 21 fixture in the Tsenba Wummen league after brezeeing past St. John’s College Loins’ U14s, putting four goals past them.

With our U14s Coach, Sapwada Yerima ringing some changes to the team that suffered the loss last weekend, the team got off to a flying start when Samuel Soja layed the ball on a plate for Destiny Lar to poke home from close range. Moments later the yourgster double his tally from a low drive outside the box to make it two nil going innto the break.

After the break, Oliver Linus and Elisha Peter also got on the scoresheet to give us 4-1 victory.

Elsewhere, our U16s dropped points for the first time this season after they were held to a 1-1 draw by FC Izam. Christopher Yusuf, who got a goal in the reverse fixture, got our noses in front in the 39th. After the interval, Bulus John got the hosts the equalizer through a shot from the edge of the box.

Matchday 22 comes up on the 7th and 8th August.
